Lifeless and naked, the woman was yanked out of the pool and thrown onto the ground, dragged away and treated as nothing more than a piece of meat.
As Ariana walked by the pool, she saw a horrifying scene. A woman, completely stripped of her clothes and drenched in blood, was being dragged away. Nearby, a group of men hastily adjusted their belts, leaving no doubt as to what had just transpired.
Arianas chest tightened with a sudden pang as she bore witness to the scene.
A shiver raced down her spine, prompting her to halt in her tracks and clutch the puppy in her arms tightly, summoning her courage. She knew there was no turning back now.
Taking a deep breath to steady herself, she trailed behind the man in charge, following him to meet Bennett.
